Purpose
This page helps you to troubleshoot issues with object type incorrectly displayed on the Dashboard. For instance you expect the type of object to be displayed as an Oracle Table instead the field Object Type shows Oracle View.

Action Plan
Check the type of the object in KB using the below query
Select k.idkey,t.typnam from typ t,keys k where t.idtyp = k.idkey and k.idkey = <object_id>
The object_id can be fetched from this page - SQL Queries - CAST Knowledge Base - Queries on objects - How to get the ID of an object from its object name or full name
If the object type is incorrectly assigned to an object then this is a bug in the Analyzer. Please contact CAST Technical Support and provide the below Relevant input:
