CAST Engineering Dashboard - Information - How to change the description of the Quality Rule without consolidating the existing snapshot or generating a new snapshot

This page provides steps to change the description of Quality Rules in Cast-MS and then to be reflected on CED without having to consolidate the existing snapshot or generate a new snapshot.

Steps to update the description of a quality rule without performing snapshot consolidation or without taking a new snapshot for the application:

1. Update the quality rule description in CMS using CMS - Quality Rules/Quality Distributions/Quality Measures tabs
2. Open Central database, and go to the Assessment Model tab. Select the option Synchronizing Assessment Model -CMS - Dashboard Service editor
3. Synchronize the central database - CMS - Dashboard Service editor
4. Launch the dashboard.
