Purpose

This page will help to troubleshoot problem where the object Description section is incomplete.

In the below screenshot the properties of the object under Object Descriptions is incomplete. It is not showing the list under Table Index, Table Foreign Key , Table Primay Key

Action Plan

  1. Check if the properties of the object are calculated and in KB . If there are no properties calculated then it is expected to not see it in the Discovery Portal.
    1. Launch Enlighten.
    2. Drag the object on the view and hit F12 key.
    3. It can be seen that the object has primary key and other properties calculated.
  2. If there are properties for the objects seen on enlighten but still not visible on the Discovery Portal then report the problem to CAST Technical Support and provide the following Relevant Input
