The customer bug 35820 (the erroneous display in CAST Imaging of Technologies modules automatically configured by Console) has been addressed in a specific way because it was not possible to fix this directly in CAST Imaging. To resolve this issue, specific actions must be performed, and these are listed below:
- Ensure you are running CAST Imaging ≥ 2.11.x
- Ensure that the latest release of the following extension com.castsoftware.moduledefinitiontypes (this extension categorises all modules) is installed in CAST Console for the application(s) in question (note that if you are using CAST Console ≥ 2.4.x, this extension will be automatically installed unless this mechanism has been manually disabled)
- Perform a new analysis/snapshot for all impacted applications in CAST Console to ensure that the com.castsoftware.moduledefinitiontypes is executed
- Perform a new export/import of the application data into CAST Imaging - ensure that you either:
- Use the automatic import/export mechanism built into CAST Console (which uses the import/export tools shipped with CAST Imaging ≥ 2.11.x)
- Use the manual import/export tools shipped with CAST Imaging ≥ 2.11.x
- On completion of the import/export process, ensure that no Technologies modules are visible in CAST Imaging under the User Guide - Module scope
