- Download JAF binaries from https://download.castsoftware.com/ToolingDownload/CBWS/cbws1.5/CastBatchWSServer-1.5_Build9.zip
- Backup existing CBWS installation folder "<Installed_path>\ CastBatchWSServer" to a new folder e.g. "<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer _<current_date>".
- Unzip CastBatchWSServer-1.5_Build9.zip to a temp path e.g. <Temp_path>\WSBatchServer-1.5_Build9
- Stop "Jenkins" service
- Stop "CastBatchWSServer" service
- Delete below highlighted files and folder (i.e dependency, CastAIPWS.hpi, cbws_version.txt, WSBatchServer-1.5.jar) from the installed path "<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer".
- Copy highlighted file and folders from the path <Temp_path>\WSBatchServer-1.5_Build9 and replace the same in "<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer".
- Open CastAIPWS.properties file and delete full email section (###Email Configuration###) from the properties file, since this is no longer used and maintained.

- Start service "CastBatchWSServer".
- Start "Jenkins" service
- Upload the CastAIPWS.hpi in Jenkins from path "<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer" under Manage Jenkins → Manage Plugin → Advanced → Upload Plugin.
- Ensure the new uploaded version is displayed in the Installed Tab against CAST Jenkins Plugin.
- Restart "Jenkins".
Now the JAF automation is upgraded to Version 1.5 Build 9.
