- Backup existing CBWS installation folder "<Installed_path>\ CastBatchWSServer" to a new folder e.g. "<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer _<current_date>".
- Unzip CastBatchWSServer-1.5_Build6.zip to a temp path e.g. <Temp_path>\WSBatchServer-1.5_Build6
- Stop "Jenkins" service
- Stop "CastBatchWSServer" service
- Copy below file from the path <Temp_path>\WSBatchServer-1.5_Build6 and replace the same in "<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer".
- Note: The below step is applicable If the caip.version=<CAST_AIP_VERSION>" entry is not present in CastAIPWS.properties.
Edit file CastAIPWS.properties in the CBWS installation folder e.g. <Installation_path>\CastBatchWSServer\CastAIPWS.properties
Add a new line "caip.version=<CAST_AIP_VERSION>" as below.
Close and save the file.
- Start "Jenkins" service
- Upload the CastAIPWS.hpi in Jenkins under Manage Jenkins → Manage Plugin → Advanced → Upload Plugin
Ensure the new uploaded version is displayed in the Installed Tab against CAST Jenkins Plugin
- Start "CastBatchWSServer".
- Restart "Jenkins"
