 | Host Operating System | CAST Extend Offline can be installed on Windows host Operating Systems. Supported versions of Windows:

| Browser | CAST Extend is not supported when using Internet Explorer. |
| Disk space | CAST Extend Offline requires at least 2GB of free disk space. |
| Network access | CAST Extend Offline runs as a Windows service on the default port of 8085 (this can be customized). You may therefore need to adjust firewall rules on the server to allow incoming connections on the listening port. |
| Proxy Settings | If the server (for example an AIP Node) which is accessing the CAST Extend Offline is also configured to pass all outgoing connections through a proxy (via the Windows proxy settings), then you may need to whitelist the IP address/host name of the server running CAST Extend Offline in order to route connections correctly. |
- CAST Extend Offline should only be installed once per "organization"
- All AIP Nodes managed by AIP Console will require access to the CAST Extend Offline
