Summary: This document provides information about changes and new features introduced in this release.
The CAST Web Installer was deprecated on 12th October 2021. This means that no further development, nor bug fixes will be provided for this component.

Note
Currently there is no upgrade path from 1.0.0-alpha1. Instead, please uninstall the previous release before installing this new release. Uninstall instructions can be found in: https://doc.castsoftware.com/display/DOCCOM/CAST+Web+Installer#CASTWebInstaller-Uninstallprocess. When using ≥ 1.1.0-funcrel, do not use %PROGRAMFILES% as your installation path. The installer will suggest C:\Programs, but you are free to chose a different location if necessary, avoiding %PROGRAMFILES%.

| AIP Console startup wizard is prefilled | The AIP Console startup wizard will be prefilled with information already entered during the setup i.e., steps 3 (Validate AIP license), 4 (enter CAST Extend credentials) and 5 (enter CAST Storage Service details for the Measure schema) will have the details prefilled. |
| Uninstall process has been improved | The setup now provides a batch file which can be run to perform a clean uninstall. |
