Introduction
When using the CAST Application Analytics and Engineering Dashboards end-users may encounter error messages in the dashboards themselves. This page is designed to provide an explanation about why the error occurred and what can be done to prevent it occurring again. The page is divided into three separate sections:
- Error messages for the CAST-AAD.war file (standalone CAST Application Analytics Dashboard deployment)
- Error messages for the CAST-AED.war file (standalone CAST Application Engineering Dashboard deployment)
- Error messages for the CAST-AAD-AED.war file (combined CAST Application Analytics / Engineering Dashboard deployment)
Error messages for the CAST-AAD.war file (standalone CAST Application Analytics Dashboard deployment)

3 | You are not authorized to access any applications | This error occurs when attempting to login to the CAST Application Analytics Dashboard. When this error is displayed, there is no issue with the username/password (the credentials have been accepted), however the username is not authorized to access any data as defined in the authorizations.xml file. Check your configuration as explained in CAST-AAD - Configuring data authorization. |

4 | No license key has been configured for this Application Engineering Dashboard. Please contact your CAST administrator | This error occurs when attempting to login to the CAST Application Engineering Dashboard. When this error is displayed, there is no issue with the username/password (the credentials have been accepted), however no license.key file exists in the root of the web application deployment folder. A license is required to access the data in a CAST Dashboard Service schema from the CAST Application Engineering Dashboard. Please refer to CAST-AED-RESTAPI - Dashboard Service license key configuration for more information. |
