Select the Diagnostic
Please note that this feature is a legacy feature and is maintained only for compatibility with previous CAST versions. CAST now provides the CAST Health and Engineering Dashboards to help enforce rules and standards in an organization. Please contact CAST for more information about this.
This first wizard screen enables you to choose the type of diagnostic you want to run.
- Run a one-shot analysis > Select this option if you want to run a simple diagnostic report.
- Create a new diagnostic > Select this option if you want to create a new diagnostic report. Choose a name for the report and enter it into the first text box. Also enter a description if you require. This diagnostic will then be saved in the Knowledge Base.
- Delete an existing diagnostic > Select this option if you want to delete an existing diagnostic. Select the diagnostic from the list below and click Next. The diagnostic will then be removed from the Knowledge Base and will no longer be accessible. You will remain on the initial "Select the Diagnostic" wizard screen.
- Use an existing diagnostic > Select this option if you want to re-run a diagnostic that you have already used. Select the diagnostic from the list below.
What to do next...?
Once satisfied with your selections, click <Back to return to the previous step, click Next> to move on to the next step, or Cancel to abort the process.
