Launching a Report on Specific Objects
There are several ways to launch the Report Wizard:
- You can click Build a Report located on the menu bar and then select On Specific Objects... from the drop down menu.
- You can use the shortcut key - CTRL+Y
- You can use the
button located on the toolbar. - You can launch it from the Report Templates Management dialog box, by clicking the Wizard button.
In all cases, the Report Wizard will be launched, starting with the Object Selection page.
Using the Wizard
Navigating through the steps in the wizard is achieved using the Back and Next buttons. At any time, remaining steps can be skipped using the Finish button which will then take you directly to the Report page (where all settings are summarized). In this case certain steps will be skipped. This feature should only be used by experienced users.
On all pages, the Cancel button aborts the configuration without carrying out any modifications.
Notes
- Please be aware that some of the wizard steps will be skipped if you choose to launch the wizard from the Report Templates Management dialog box.
